MPN response to terror attacks on the US

Columbia, MD - September 12, 2001: Yesterday, an unknown nation or terrorist organization declared war on the United States by hi-jacking four civilian aircraft and crashing them into civilian and military targets, killing untold numbers of people.  We would like to express our heart felt sorrow for those that lost their lives and were injured in this cowardly act and offer our thanks to those heroes working to save the lives of the injured.

We would like to further state that if any nation or organization is found responsible for these attacks, we endorse the complete destruction of said organization and will support whatever action our government deems necessary against the nation or nations that are involved, that harbored, or assisted those responsible for this attack.  As current and former seamen, soldiers and airmen we, the Board and staff of MPN fully understand the job ahead of our military and will pray for their safety during the course of any resulting military action, and hope for their quick and safe return to their homes and families. Although we do not want a war, we wonder that a lesser response would be a disservice to those that have already died and to those that die in future such attacks.

The Military Pagan Network does not speak for any military or government agency.  We are a civilian, civil rights organization with the mission of serving our nations military and veterans.  The opinions expressed in this release are only those of the Board of Directors and the Staff of the Military Pagan Network, Inc.
