Military Pagan Network Inc starts listserv on the internet

Ellicott City, MD - October 30, 1997: Military Pagan Network Inc, with the help of BW Internet Services, has started a listserv for military Pagans and friends.

With the help of Houston's Pagan-owned & operated ISP, BW Internet Services, the Military Pagan Network was able to establish a public list for discussion of matters of interest to Pagans who are serving or have served in the Military, and for their dependants and friends. We do this in hopes to expand our availability to military Pagans on the internet. In conjunction with the world wide wed site hosted by Cathouse Internet Systems it is felt that the Military Pagan Network has a strong presence on the net and provides a good service.

Founded in 1992, the Military Pagan Network Inc. acted as a store and group information resource for Neopagans in the military. The corporation now provides material regarding various Neopagan religions to the Chaplaincy, as well as fulfilling its original goal of providing contacts near military bases around the world. In 1997 the corporation expanded its services to include assisting military members with the proper handling of harassment and discrimination.
